Common boas are deceptively great beginner snakes. Other than their size (a pro for many) they are hardy, great feeders and easy to care for. With their size they can range from 6-10ft with females topping those scales.

  • Handling: fine handled but can be vocal though hook training is recommended for when they grow.

  • Size range: currently around 1-1.5ft

  • Housing and habitat: At current a 3ft vivarium with upgrade to minimum 6ft x 2ft vivarium as adult, larger is recommended.
