Sex: male
Morph: tangerine
Suitable for: anyone from beginners to more experienced keepers
Captive bred? Yes
Handling: this boy is easy to hold and very inquisitive
Size range: 4-6 feet with females often exceeding these sizes
Housing and habitat: adult males generally require 4ft vivariums depending on length
Females will be larger than males and can be expected to reach 5 ft in length requiring an adult tank size approximately 4ft x 2ft as appose to males which typically do well in a 4ft.
For adults we would advice thermostatically controlled over head heating set to a 30-32*C basking spot. However, babies tend to do fine on heat mats given their lighter body weights.
The benefit of going for an adult animal is that they can go straight into their final size enclosure saving money in the long run! They are also more used to being handled making them great for a cuddly family (After appropriate settling in time).
