Red-Footed Tortoise For Sale
Red-footed Tortoises are a fun species to keep due to their tropical requirements, slightly larger size and the stunning contrast between their dark shells and bright red cheeks.
This species does not hibernate so is free to interact with all year round.

Sex: Unsexed at their current size
Handling: Likes to be stroked and hand fed
Adult size: Ranges from 40-50cm
Suitability: Beginners who have the space to provide for them
Housing requirements: As they do not hibernate, Red Foots must be kept heated all year round, and do not tolerate significant temperature drops at night or during the colder months.
They have higher humidity requirements compared to most other species, and should be housed in a sealed 8x4ft enclosure when adult, or an insulated and heated shed.
