  • Currently for sale in our Iver reptile shop

  • Photos taken March 2024

  • Age: CB23

  • Sex: Female

  • Suitable for: First time reptile owners - however this gorgeous girl is Vivarium defensive and would benefit in an experienced household with no small children.

  • Captive bred? Yes

  • Handling: generally okay to handle however needs a little more TLC we recommend using a snake hook to get her out of the enclosure.

  • Size range: around 4-5ft for mature females

  • Housing and habitat: at her size she requires a 3x1ft enclosure with thermostatically controlled over head heating. However would recommend upgrading to a 4x2x2 when she gets bigger.

This species requires basking temperatures of 32-35 Celsius, with a minimum night time drop to 22 Celsius and ideally thrives in areas of 50-60% humidity. UV lightning is not necessary for this species although studies show they benefit from exposure to UV rays.

This species does not require feeding as often as most other pets. As babies they will typically eat once a week, juvenile to sub adult once a fortnight, then as an adult once a month, depending of food items offered, so very low feeding cost in comparison to other species and perfect for those new to the hobby as maintaining feeding schedule is easier to manage.
