Black Rat Snakes are a long, slender-bodied snake with similar care requirements to a Corn Snake and can make great pet snakes once they are used to their new owner!

Enclosure recommendations

Babies can be housed in hatchling snake kits (usually a large plastic faunarium with a thermostatically controlled heat mat) and adults should be housed in 4ft long vivariums as a minimum, with thermostatically controlled and guarded overhead heating.
