Twisty The Crested Gecko For Rehoming

£25.00

Twisty is looking for a new home! Crested Geckos make amazing pets due to their ease of care, docile nature when used to their owner, and the huge variety of colours and patterns (Morphs) they come in!

  • Photos taken October 2024

  • Currently off-site, please purchase online for delivery or collection from store

  • Age: Adult

  • Sex: Male (should not be bred from)

  • Morph: Phantom Reverse Pinstripe Brindle

  • This lovely boy has floppy Tail syndrome, a condition that impacts the tail and pelvis of a Crested Gecko and causes a bend or dip at the tail base. This does not negatively impact their quality of life.

  • Diet: Crested Gecko Diet and insects

  • Handling: Friendly

  • Suitability: Beginner

Enclosure recommendations

Crested Geckos should be housed in glass terrariums that are a minimum size of 45x45x60cm.

Heating can be provided by placing thermostatically controlled heat mats on the side of the glass, or by using thermostatically controlled overhead heating.

UV lighting is beneficial, and these geckos do very well in live-planted bioactive enclosures.
