Enclosure recommendations

Diamondback Terrapins require an aquarium measuring a minimum of 3-4ft in length, with filtered and heated water.

They should be provided with an easily accessible dry area they can use to bask under a heat bulb and UV lighting.

Sand should be used instead of gravel as a substrate to avoid accidental ingestion.
