A great species for someone after an interesting terrestrial frog. Known for active hunting behaviours which is always a joy to watch!
Currently for sale in our Iver reptile shop
Photos taken March 2024, age under 1 year
Sex: Unsexed
Captive bred? yes CB23
Handling: amphibians gloves are recommended for handling
Maximum adult size: Males 60-65mm, Females 90-95mm
Housing and habitat: at current size they would do well in a rub/faunarium style set up eventually upgrading to an adult size enclosure. Exoterra or similar sized glass terrariums work great and a 45x45 - 60x45 would work well depending on number of inhabitants.
They want temperatures around 24-27*C during the day. This can be achieved with a heat mat or overhead heating each requiring a thermostat for safe use. Humidity should be maintained around 60-70% using a large shallow water bowl and regular spraying.
