The Ackie Monitor (Varanus acanthurus) is a dwarf Monitor Lizard species, meaning it has all the intelligence and characteristics of the bigger Monitors, but in a smaller, more manageable package. In fact, Ackie Monitors make great alternatives to the Bearded Dragon!
This female would be a great addition to a breeding project!

Enclosure recommendations
Ackie Monitors require a vivarium measuring 4x2x2ft as a minimum.
UV lighting and thermostatically controlled overhead heating is required, with a high basking temperature of 45-50c, which should be measured with a digital thermometer or heat gun.

You can cancel your order for free and get a full refund if you let us know within 24 hours of receiving the second email from us.
If you choose to cancel after 24 hours of receiving the second email from us, then we will retain 25% of the price of each animal in your order. This is to help cover the cost of housing, feeding and caring for the animal(s) while they were reserved for you — and no one else could buy them.
