The minimum size for an adult is a 2ft long enclosure with soil-based substrate and multiple hides, including a moist hide filled with sphagnum moss. Thermostatically controlled heating is required.
Temperatures and humidity should be measured with a digital thermo-hygrometer for accuracy. These guys are semi-arboreal to raid nests in the wild so they do appreciate some enriching climbing opportunities within their enclosure.
