Male Bumblebee (Pastel Spider) Royal Python Looking for a new home.
Bumble has stolen the hearts of many of Ivers volunteers and it’s easy to see why. He’s sweet, gentle and slow moving helping even nervous handlers build confidence. Bumble’s beautiful markings are down to his spider genetics, this morph is associated with a neurological issue commonly called ‘head wobble’. Luckily Bumbles symptoms are minor to non existent and don’t slow him down at all as he’s a great feeder and navigates perfectly.
Royals are a popular choice when it comes for a first, second or third pet snake. Often recommended to new keepers due to their sweet nature and impressive, but manageable size.
Females will be larger than males and can be expected to reach 5ft in length requiring an adult tank size approximately 4ft x 2ft as appose to males which typically do well in a 4ft.
For adults we would advice thermostatically controlled over head heating, set to a 32-35*C basking spot. This species dose not do well with night time temperature drops so we recommend 24/7 use of a non light emitting heat source, such as a ceramic or deep heat projector.
The benefit of going for a more grown on animal is that they tend to be more established; allowing them to go straight into adult size set ups without fear of them going off their food. This boy in particular is well handled and popular with the children who visit in store.
Suitable kits available from £435.
