Adult Size: Range from 2.5 to 4 inches (females are larger than males)
Handling: We do not recommend frequently handling Amphibians due to their sensitive skin
Suitability: Beginner
Natural Habitat: Rainforests throughout the Amazonian Basin
Enclosure Requirements:
Adults should be housed in a glass Terrarium measuring 45x45x60cm as a minimum. They should be provided with thermostatically controlled heating, with UV lighting also being beneficial. They are very arboreal and thus should have plenty of climbing branches, cork pieces and plants to enable them to sit up high. You can make stunning live-planted bioactive enclosures for these Frogs.
