Common boas are deceptively great beginner snakes. Other than their size (a pro for many), they are hardy, great feeders and easy to care for.

With their size they can range from 6-10ft, with females topping those scales.

  • Morph: Hypo Het Sharp Albino

  • Suitable for: Beginner keepers committed to a larger snake species or someone looking to expand their collection

  • Captive bred? Yes

  • Handling: fine handled but can be vocal though hook training is recommended for when they grow.

  • Size range: currently around 1-1.5ft

  • Housing and habitat: At current a 4ft vivarium with upgrade to minimum 6ft x 2ft vivarium as adult, larger is recommended.

If you’ve got the space for a 6ft viv then go big or go home with a great species like this!
