This guy is not to be missed with some stunning colours he has a great presence in any enclosure.
Uromastyx are vegetarians so great for anyone wanting to experience the joys of larger reptiles without dealing with live feeder insects. Their diet will consist of fresh leafy greens, lentils and small amounts of fruit/veg.
He is a big boy and will require a minimum of a 4ft x 2ft vivarium with over head heating and strong UVB to mimic his naturally desert environment.
We would recommend temperatures near enough to the 50*C on the hot spot and a UVB index of 4-6 requiring a 12-14% bulb depending on enclosure height.
